The Love Eternity Foundation, an NGO based in Lagos with the objective of creating positive mind-shifts by running programmes for youth, will be hosting the third edition of her writers’ workshop on Saturday, 18th May 2019.

Do words stand a chance against state machinery?

Can poems, short stories and film actually make a difference in our Nigerian clime?

These are some of the themes that will be explored with young writers at the workshop.

Started in 2017, Liberty is a writers’ workshop geared at young poets, wordsmiths and storytellers, with the aim of giving them an avenue to learn, express themselves and hone their skills.

The workshop will be split into three parts:

  • Poetry – facilitated by Ore Fakorede
  • Short Stories – facilitated by Kemi Ifalodun
  • Screenwriting – facilitated by Bill Bidiaque

Liberty 3.0

The third edition of Liberty will hold on Saturday, 18th May 2019 at The Light Factory, 14 Williams Close, Off Adenuga Road, Aguda, Surulere, Lagos.
