With a goal of instilling a sense of pride in the next generation, LEAP Africa’s Social Innovators Award is back for the 2015 edition to celebrate youth, innovation and social change on November 12, 2015. The Social Innovators Awards 2015 will honour change-makers working in various communities and sectors to impact lives positively. Extraordinary young people from across Nigeria have been selected for the prestigious Social Innovators Awards for excellence in community development and will be inducted on November 12th. These are actively engaged youth providing solutions to resolve issues and support our failing systems to create a better society. Themed “Rage for Change: Creating Impact” the aim of the annual awards is to highlight the part played by young people in promoting innovative ideas for community development, as well as encouraging a better appreciation and understanding amongst youth about contributing to national development. Speaking at the event are seasoned social entrepreneurs to engage on the theme. Hosted by Dayo Benjamin-Laniyi, the event will feature live performances. The event will take place at The City Park, Ademola Adetokunbo, Wuse 11 Abuja on November 12, 2015 by 10:00 a.m. Reserve a seat here.
