Are you an entrepreneur or an aspiring one? Or are you interested in learning more about entrepreneurship and what’s happening on the scene in Nigeria? Here’s an event you can’t afford to miss. Lagos Startup Week is a five-day event dubbed “celebration” of entrepreneurship in Nigeria and its many tapped and untapped opportunities. It’s set to take place between July 27 and 31, July with a wide array of entrepreneurial spaces as venues. Its kick-off ceremony, however, will hold at Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. The week’s scheduled speakers are some of Nigeria’s accomplished entrepreneurs and business executives including Mark Essien, Founder,  Hotels.ng; Tola Akerele, Founder, Bogobiri House; Bastier Gotter, Co-Founder, Iroko Partners; Ike Eze, Executive Director, e-Tranzact; Ikenna Okonkwo, CEO, Heels.com.ng. Big players from other countries are also expected such as Benjamin Benaim, Founding Partner, Seedstar South Africa; Thomas Van Halen, Investor Relations, VC4Africa and Candace Johnson, President of EBAN-The European Trade Association for Business Angels.
