Infinix mobile has made its mark, as one of the top mobile device suppliers in the country standing tall against big names, like Samsung and Apple. Infinix offered phones with decent specs at pretty cheap prices and they won the heart of the average Nigerian. However, they’ve also stepped into the high-end device game with top-notch devices like the Infinix Zero 5, their 2017 flagship. The Infinix Zero 5 launched last month and packs some really sterling features, especially in the camera department. The device has a 5.98” full HD display with 2.5D curved glass design. It comes with 6GB of DDR4X RAM and the MediaTek Helio P25 processor clocked at 2.6GHZ for smooth performance and improved multitasking. It ships with Android 7.0 Nougat and a promised upgrade to 8.0 Oreo. It’s available in 64GB, and 128GB internal storage options, and SD card expansion, up to 2TB. Infinix Zero 5 Now to the camera, the device has a dual camera setup behind, a 12 MP wide-angle lens and 13MP telephoto lens. It also sports a dual LED flash,  2x optical zoom, and 10x digital zoom. There is also a special Portrait Master Mode that uses an RGBW sensor and multi-frame noise reduction technology to assist users in taking amazing shots. A 16MP camera lies in front with an LED flash beside it for night time shots. There’s a 4320Mah battery hooked to the device, unlike its predecessor that had just 3200Mah of battery power. As a way of engaging users and promoting photography with their latest flagship, Infinix launched the #STAYTRUESHOOTING award campaign for users, who own the Infinix Zero 5 to show off their photo taking skills and flex the amazing camera on the Zero 5. The grand prize for the winner will be an all-expense paid trip to Shanghai to capture the beautiful city courtesy of Infinix. There are 3 categories that you can choose for your photos: Nature, People, Animals. The participants, who gain the most votes will win the Gold Prize (Infinix Quiet X); The Diamond and Platinum Winners will be selected by a pool of professional judges. The platinum prize is an Infinix Zero 5 + certificate while the diamond prize is the trip to Shanghai. Entries are open worldwide to photographers using an Infinix Zero 5 (Pro). Photos submitted should be unique and not have been used in previous competitions. Posts on personal accounts (Facebook, Instagram etc.) are eligible.
