I remember when I just learnt how to surf the net, those were the days of Internet Explorer, the days of click and wait. Then came Mozilla Firefox which was a welcome alternative, and then came Google Chrome (which until now, was my personal favourite).

Recently, I discovered a new browser with some very cool features and I feel like tempting you to come and enjoy the experience.

Vivaldi, founded by Former Chief of Opera Software, Jon Stephenson von Tetzchner, is a highly customizable, power-user browser, that’s a welcome upgrade from the everyday boring browser. It works on Windows, Mac and Linux systems.

The features are cool and include:

  1. Note taking: on the sidebar you can make quick notes about the pages your viewing.
  2. Tab stacking: you can create a stack of tabs by dragging two or more open tabs onto each other.
  3. Mouse gesture/keyboard shortcuts: you can customize every action in Vivaldi with whatever keyboard shortcut you want and also you can create custom mouse gestures for navigation.
  4. Side by side browsing: with Vivaldi you can view two or more sites together, side by side this is very useful for making comparisons.
  5. Thumbnail preview of open tabs: when you move a mouse over a tab, it gives a visual preview of d tab also if you click and drag the tab menu down, it will reveal a preview of all your open tabs.

These are just a few of the cool features. So why don’t you give it a try? Visit vivaldi.com.
