However, emails, at some point, begin to feel like a burden and a liability once spam emails find their way into our inbox. Opening the email dashboard becomes a chore and we may begin to procrastinate the simple act of responding even to important emails. Deleting each and every spam messages, on the other hand, won’t be enough once they begin to swim around your inbox. Spam email, also known as junk email, is unsolicited messages sent in bulk by email. Most email spam messages are commercial in nature such that they are trying to market one thing or the other to you. Irrespective of the possible commercial nature of spam, they are not only annoying but may also pose a danger because they may contain malware links or file attachments that could override your privacy settings. Google Gmail

Gmail makes unsubscribing from spam easier as it readily groups messages it suspects to be spam in a different folder. And for messages without a working unsubscribe link, Gmail puts its own unsubscribe link at the top of the message and situates it right beside the address of the sender’s email. You can complete the unsubscribe process by clicking the giant Unsubscribe button appears. To unsubscribe via the Gmail mobile app, tap the menu up top, and then click the unsubscribe word that appears on the menu.

Microsoft Outlook

For users of Microsoft Outlook, there are prominent unsubscribe links embedded on Outlook.com and Outlook app interfaces. If you are accessing Outlook via the web, click on the “Getting too much email? Unsubscribe” button at the top of any (spam) message.

Apple iOS Mail App

If you would like to unsubscribe from emails via the built-in iOS Mail app, you can do so through the displayed banner atop your messages “This message is from a mailing list. Unsubscribe”. Clicking on that button will send you an activation email form in which you can complete the unsubscribe request.
