The holidays were all about experimenting, especially with foods and drinks affairs. It was great trying to have an evolution when thinking about what to do with foods. One of which I tried my hands on was Carrot Cocktail. After investing in a good blender/juicer, I had bargained my heart out to get the vendor agree to my pocket size, I was sure to get out my carrot juice right away, as carrot flavours break down and become dull when it sits for long. Carrot juice has a lot of potentials than we give it credit for, as while it may not be as staple as citrus fruits, its freshness and ability to add savoury notes to a drink is wonderful plus it easily combines well with many herbs and other flavours. Ingredients: 90 ml Pineapple 2 Carrots Ginger Method: Blend your pineapple and carrots till it becomes slushy. Mix the ginger slices in the bottom of a shaker glass to add taste. Add ice. Shake well to be sure the ginger spice is well mixed into the liquids. Taste it to see if it needs a little more of anything. Serve.     Feature Image credit: todayindietzville.com
