If you are like me, you have probably searched Google at least twice a week for just about any news online on Avatar 2. The movie is definitely a long way from release, so it’s kind of understandable why not much is known about the plot of the film. Although the production schedule of the film draws closer, few teasers on the storyline are bound to make their way to the online scene (smiles). While we already know (well I know *winks*), that the sequel will most definitely explore the waters of Pandora, latest rumours claim that the film will feature a “prison theme” and that this theme will reflect in the film’s first-look poster. Based on a statement by artist Goksan Ozman, who is working on the film’s official poster ,“Avatar 2 will focus on a prison theme”. It’s not explained if this “prison” is meant to hold the humans or Na’vi inmates. There is of course a possibility that the conflict between the two has grown significantly since the war that occurred in the first film. However, there is no confirmation whatsoever from either James Cameron (the director) or any official source, if the film will indeed involve a prison theme. Earlier in June 2015, media reports revealed just how much work Cameron has to do in order to complete Avatar 2. “It’s a room … which is covered floor to ceiling with images, characters, worlds … the movie is the most amazing, breathtaking thing you’ve ever seen. His challenge is to put all of that in a movie,” said Jim Gianopulos, 20th Century Fox Chairman and CEO. Well, whatever theme it turns out to be, we just hope that it is going to be a greater version of the first film. So till then, we are keeping our fingers crossed.     About the Writer: Eniola Adeniji is a woman after God’s own heart, a motivational Writer, Speaker, Fashion and Photography addict.
