Photos, which are aggregates of pixels, are made of three main colors red, green and blue and their filters are created by varying the intensity of those main colors. Every effect formidable by this action has been produced and stored in a single APK file- Snapseed.
Since its release in 2011 by Nik Software, a subsidiary of Google, the application has been worked on consistently, fixing bugs and implementing the sleek user interface we find today. It is available for download for both iOS and android.

It is sad that Snapseed has not gotten quite the number of users it deserves, even though it turns everyday phone users to expert photographers.
