Barely two weeks after news broke out globally that Google wants to
connect the next 1 billion people – online, Google through its Nigeria office is partnering with the Government for a study on ‘Impact of the internet.’ ThisDay reports that the study would “examine the Internet’s impact on and potential contribution to socio-economic development of the country.”
Google would work with the Nigerian Ministry of Communications and Technology on the project.
