Facebook is organizing a series of workshops for developers in Lagos, Nairobi and Johannesburg between the 24th and 31st of August, 2016. The events are geared at providing exclusive hands-on instruction via code-labs, tech-talks and updates on the latest Facebook platform product designed to help you build and grow a successful business.
The workshop would be divided into 3 streams: reaching your audience with Bots on Messenger, building fast and reliable login flows with Account Kit and making your apps globally accessible with React Native.
Speakers at the workshop include Ime Archibong, Director of Global Product Partnerships at Facebook, Christine Abernathy, a Developer Advocate on the Open Source team at Facebook, Emeka Afigbo who leads Facebook’s Product Partnership efforts in the Middle East and Africa, Jon Heaton, a Partner Engineer on the Facebook Messenger team, Wayne Lu, a Partner Engineer on the Partner Engineering team at Facebook and Ziad Traboulis, an Engineering Lead at Facebook. The events would hold in Lagos on August 31, Nairobi on August 26 and Johannesburg on August 24.
