Evernote is a great note taking and organization app. It’s available for free on Android, IOS, Mac and Windows platforms and stands head and shoulders above Microsoft’s One Note and Google’s Android Keep.
Evernote saves all your pictures, audio files and notes in the cloud so you can easily access them anywhere you have an Internet connection. You can type notes, upload images and record voice memos. You can also create notes in the desktop app for Windows and Mac. It integrates well with a lot of other 3rd party apps especially Evernote Web Clipper which allows you save the contents of a Web page without copying or pasting anything. Evernote Web Clipper gives you a variety of options to save your content as an article, full page, bookmark, or screenshot. Easily designate where you want that article to go by choosing a specific notebook and cataloging it with tags.
There is a very nice and useful feature in Evernote that not many users know or use. The feature is called “Import folders” and what it can do for you is to synchronise automatically a folder from your PC with your evernote notebooks. All you have to do is to choose a folder in your computer and every file that you add in this folder, will be automatically added as a new note in the notebook of your choice. Unfortunately it is a Windows-only feature but there is a script that can do the same for your Mac.
Evernote also features voice to text speech which enables you to dictate your notes and the app will save a copy of your voice memo too. Evernote for Android packs a lot of features not available for other mobile versions. It’s a great tool to help you stay organized.

I love this! I have the app on my Blackberry but I’ve never touched it. Now that I know I can get it on my computer I think I’ll start from there.
