To the delight of the veg lovers, the first edition of the Lagos Veg Fest (LVF) will be launching this Friday, October 10th for the duration of three days at Freedom Park on Lagos Island. The LVF will be hosting some of Nigeria’s most innovative businesses in the health & wellness industry, international guests, people interested in the vegan and vegetarian lifestyle and leaders in sustainable living. Entry to this event is free.

The Wives: Stage Play
The Wives is a comedy stage play which focuses on the intriguing character called Chief Theophilus Gbadegeshin Olowookere, his sister and his three wives, Angela, Cecilia and Tobi. In ‘The Wives’ the question of ‘can a man keep his most cherished secrets forever?’ is the central theme of the play. There lies a little secret and no one wants to discuss it. The play will star Joke Silva, Kate Henshaw, Jide Kosoko, Iretiola Doyle, Lala Akindoju, Toyin Oshinnaike and Debola Williams.

‘International Day Of The Girl Child’
Women’s Technology Empowerment Centre (W.TEC), Intel, Oracle, iDEA Hub and KraveX Ltd. are organizing a celebration to commemorate International Day of the Girl Child.
