“The Cyber Security Bill will be ready before the end of the year. The Federal Ministry of Justice is working on a draft that will form executive bill. There will be inputs from stakeholders from the IT industry,” said the Nigerian Minister for Communications Technology, Omobola Johnson, at the 11th International Conference of Nigeria Computer Society, held at Osun State. Her remark reminded concerned groups and individuals, locally and internationally, of the efforts of her Ministry to crackdown on internet fraud in Nigeria. The bill, when successfully passed in the National assembly and signed into law by the President, will prohibit, prevent, prosecute and punish of cyber crime in  Nigeria.
