ConnectNigeria-e-Business Fair   We at connectnigeria.com are proud to announce that our annual e-Business Fair is back on the 18th of October 2014 at Eko Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.  This year the event will be tagged ‘’E-business and the Growth of Your Enterprise Part II’’. The overall objective is for SMEs to come and learn about how to grow their business using technology as well as to build stronger business networks. Based on the success of last year’s events which recorded over 2,000 visitors and the success stories that have come from it, we decided to retain e-Business as the primary focus of the fair. We anticipate once again, the connecting of small business owners with service providers such as banks and ICT firms to discuss how to build and harness modern electronic technologies with their business operations. At the first edition of the e-Business fair, the keynote address by the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, was presented by his deputy, Mr. Olusuyi Adaramewa. His address was titled “Importance of a Cashless Society to Economic Growth & Development in Nigeria.” Representatives from different financial and service institutions such as the Central Bank of Nigeria, Microsoft, Diamond Bank Plc, Google Nigeria, Etranzact, and Pro Works were also present at the event. They were able to cover issues pertaining to the use of electronic systems in business transaction, money transfer, and internet connectivity. Similarly to last year, we will have an array of presentations, keynote speakers, as well as a raffle.  Last year, prizes including an iPad, desktop printers, car navigation, a Portable Sony Play Station and more were won. However, this year promises greater prizes. Following last year’s success, the upcoming e-Business fair is anticipated to be the biggest SME event in Africa, therefore making it one you don’t want to miss.
