Applications are currently open for the GiddyUp Incubation Program, a six-week hybrid program for people who intend to build and run businesses in the creative space, powered by digital technology. If this describes you, you may consider applying for the program.

The organizers of the GiddyUp Incubation Program intend for it to be a means through which they identify and train creatives. They are specifically interested in supporting creatives who play an important part in the digital ecosystem and economy.

The GiddyUp Incubation Program is powered by GiddyUp, in partnership with Musterpoint and the Afrilabs Capacity Building Program. It is sponsored by AFD (the French Development Agency), Digital Africa, and AfriLabs.

Benefits

Creatives who participate in this program will benefit from it in the following ways:

  • Get business incorporation, business bank account, and three-month post-incubation support

  • Consultation with experts on a range of vital issues, including product-market fit, revenue models, and branding and marketing
  • Network with potential partners, cofounders, and other creatives

Eligibility

Applicants should meet these conditions:

  • Should be a creative whose work is relevant to the digital economy
  • Must be prepared to build a business

Register to attend the Connect Nigeria Business Mixer
  • Should be aged between 22 and 35
  • Must be available once a week for as long as the incubation period lasts (six months)
  • Should be able to demonstrate their expertise in their specific creative field

The deadline for applications is August 19, 2022. The incubator program will take place between September 6 and October 14. This will be followed by post-incubation support, which will happen from October 17 and December 23.
