Apply For the Amazon Web Services AI and ML Scholarship Program

Amazon Web Services (AWS), in collaboration with Udacity, is inviting applications for the AI and ML Scholarship program. It is a program targeted at providing 2,500 Udacity nanodegree scholarships on an annual basis as well as mentorship to underserved or underrepresented students in technology.

The major aim of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) AI and ML Scholarship program is to diversify the future of the tech workforce by eliminating financial barriers, providing tech skills acquisition training, and providing mentorship support.

Applicants for the program will be prequalified through the use of a free, student-only version of AWS DeepRacer.

To be eligible for the program

• The applicant must be a student over the age of 16 who is from an underserved or underrepresented community in tech and is currently enrolled in high school or college.
• The applicant does not need prior knowledge in machine learning or computer science. It is a program designed to help committed students get started with machine learning.

Some of the benefits of the scholarship program include

• It covers full tuition for the Nanodegree program of Udacity. Participants will gain knowledge of AI and coaching from professionals.
• The program is designed to help interested students gain knowledge in machine learning with no prior tech knowledge required.
