  Access Bank is inviting businesses at various stages of development to apply for a place in its Sustainable Finance Accelerator Program. This initiative cultivates a consciousness of corporate Nigeria’s environmental and social concerns. It particularly targets startups and companies active in the environmental domain that are developing solutions that address these concerns.

The Access Bank Sustainable Finance Accelerator Program will provide participating businesses with the resources, mentorship and network needed to make an impact and drive lasting change in industries related to environmental conservation, circular economy, renewable energy, and sustainable living.

Benefits

Startups and companies selected for the accelerator program will benefit from it in the following ways:
  • Get paired with and learn from entrepreneurs, experts and investors with a background in sustainable practices
  • Attend bi-weekly workshops around sustainable models, impact measurement, fundraising, and market strategy, as well as sessions on leadership and communication
  • Access funding from impact investors and venture capitalists
  • Connect and network with a global network of sustainability-focused startups
  • Use a green-certified co-working space complete with labs, prototyping facilities, and testing grounds
  • Learn to set and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Eligibility

This program is open to startups that meet the following criteria:
  • They should have innovative ideas that address current sustainability challenges
  • Their solutions must be scalable and have the potential for widespread impact
  • A strong and diverse team, exhibiting a mix of business and technical know-how
  • The product must align with SDGs and ESG
  • Should have a clear plan for measuring the impact of their solution
