Musa, 22, has captained the Super Eagles in the past, leading them out in a friendly game against South Africa earlier this year. The CSKA Moscow forward made his international debut against Madagascar in 2011 in Calabar and he has since gone on to represent the country on 50 occasions. If appointed, the pacy winger cum forward will become one of the youngest players ever to captain the Nigerian Senior team.
