Scholarships will be handed out to qualifying participants in Nanodegree programs comprising Business Analytics, Intro to Programming, Product Manager, Digital Marketing, and Programming for Data Science with Python have been allocated to build practical, in-demand, cutting-edge tech skills. This opportunity is particularly tailored for those who are interested in learning tech-forward skills to kick-start their careers across the digital economic world from 2021. The Nanodegree programs are some of the most sought-after and in-demand skills in the tech world and associated industries. The scholarship will create upskilling opportunities for individuals and give them the skills needed in the digital world. The program comprises some of the highest growth, most in-demand careers today. For most of the programs such as Business Analytics, Introduction to Programming, Programming for Data Science with Python, Product Manager; having basic computer skills, experience using the web, owning a laptop, managing files, using third-party online programs, and having a reliable Internet connection is the most minimum requirements. The duration for each of the scholarship program are; Business Analytics running for 3 months at 5-10 hrs/week. Intro to Programming, running for 4 months at 5-10 hrs/week. Programming for Data Science with Python running for 3 months at 5-10 hrs/week. Product Manager running for 4 months at 10 hrs/week. Digital Marketing, running for 3 months at 5-10 hrs/week. Applications for the 1st Cohort of the scholarship program will be open from August 2, 2021 to August 31, 2021. Scholarship applications comprise two parts being Questions on background information and a Short pre-assessment. Once the application is submitted, the applicant will receive a decision email on September 10, 2021. Of all the applicants to the scholarship, 2,500 Challenge Course recipients will be chosen in the cohort. In total, 250 participants will then be selected for the next stage of the full Nanodegree scholarship program based on their score in the Final Assessment. The Challenge stage where applicants will be further screened will have the candidates who qualify for the next stage announced by September 10, 2021 while the Challenge Course will start by September 13, 2021 and end October 18, 2021. Winners will be announced on October 28, 2021. The program will then run from October 29, 2021 to December 24, 2021. Interested applicants can register using this link.
