1) Communicate openly the challenges that your organization is facing

Communication is the foundation of any organization, and effective communication helps the organization grow. A leader must be able to communicate and discuss relevant issues or challenges openly with members of the organization or his followers to demonstrate or show a high level of Accountability. Communication that is effective and efficient will strengthen interpersonal relationships among members of the organization. 2) Take responsibility for both failures and successes

One of the required qualities of a good leader is the ability to take or accept responsibility. A leader must be able to accept responsibility for an organization’s failures and successes to hold himself/herself accountable. This is another way for a leader to demonstrate accountability by not being a selfish leader who just wants to favor himself. So a leader must be selfless.

4) Be Transparent about information, including financials and other sensitive information

A leader must not withhold any relevant organizational information from his followers or members. Any leader who withholds vital information from his followers or members will be held accountable. To show or demonstrate accountability, a leader must be transparent with all records, information, such as finances, and other vital information that must be known so that everyone can see it openly whether it’s positive or negative, or if there is progress in the organization.

5) Create an accountability culture by rewarding employees who accept responsibility for their actions and decisions

Rewarding employees or members of an organization who accept or take responsibility for their decisions and actions is one way to motivate other members to do the same, and it is also another way for a leader to demonstrate accountability.
