Chef Fregs
The Abeokuta-born and Benin-brought-up chef started his culinary journey after graduating from Covenant University with a degree in Human Resource Management. He went on to gain stellar cooking skills from the Jean-Georges Vongerichten Restaurant Market and attained a diploma in cuisine from Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute in Paris. Gbubemi Fregene, popularly known by his professional name, Chef Fregz,has been featured on CNN’s African Voices and his impressive clientele include Moet Nigeria and Knorr Nigeria, amongst others.
The Pasta Chef
This “Pasta master” and “Italy loving” chef started his culinary journey in his mother’s kitchen and from the days of cooking spaghetti. Seun Kowosi, popularly known as The Pasta Chef, took up cooking as a career after NYSC and decided to hone his skills through valuable experience. His meeting with Chef Fregzwould end up affecting his career positively and leading him into the art of creating pasta. By understudying Chef Fregz, Seun learned the basics of making pasta and went on to do his own research by experimenting with pasta of all shapes and sizes and investing in tools for Pasta creation. His drive and talent earned him a full scholarship at the Culinary Academy where he spent 18 months honing his skills. Seun fantasizes about floating an Italian-style casual dining restaurant serving authentic Italian meals and expanding his pasta brand at the same time.
Heels In The Kitchen
Tomi Aladekomo, or Heels in the Kitchen, as she is popularly known, is a stalk-worthy chef to follow on social media. She prepares tasty meals. She acquired her culinary skills from Cordon Bleu and went on to open Heels in the Kitchen, a food service company which she plans to use to revolutionize the food industry and showcase Nigeria to the world. Imoteda also has a degree in Social Development Studies and a minor in Women Studies which she attained from the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, Canada.
Chef Eros
Tolu Erogbogbo, also known asChef Eros, is the founder of Cookie Jar Bakeries and CEO of Chef Eros and Gourmet Foods. According to Tolu, he has a love affair with fine food and lifestyle. Chef Eros has set the pace in the food industry by owning a restaurant at the early age of 21 and becoming the West African Chef Ambassador for German appliance, Miele. He has also held several master classes for aspiring chefs at the GT Bank Food and Drink Fairand has recently added another feather to his cap by launching the Breakfast Service, Breakfast at Eros (BAE).
FoodAce
Founder of FoodAce, Belle Nnorom, found her passion for cooking from watching her mother, who was a caterer, provide food and drinks for different occasions. Her interests centre on creating new recipes and experimenting with various unconventional flavors and spices. On her blog and social media accounts, she shows how easy cooking can be.
