Access Bank Pitch-A-Ton is part of the bank’s W-Initiative, which it launched in 2006. Through this means, the bank provides women in business with the resources they need to meet their career and lifestyle needs. Pitch-A-Ton is an annual program that awards grants totalling ₦9 million to its top five applicants and gives at least 50 women access to a free mini-MBA program. It launched in 2019 and has so far held twice—in its maiden year, and 2020. This year, the program seeks entries from across Africa, including Nigeria.

How The Program Will Unfold
The program is designed to run over three months, comprising 12 weeks of certified mini-MBA training supported by the International Finance Corporation (IFC). Participants will be drawn from the pool of respondents who have filled an online application on the Womenpreneur website. Next, there will be a pitching session in which 100 finalists will pitch their businesses to a pan-African panel. Selected winners will receive financial grants and other prizes.Eligibility
Applicants should meet the following criteria.- Business must have existed for at least one year
- Applicants must be women between the ages of 18 and 45 years
- Business must have at least 50% female ownership
