Idanre Hills

The Oke Idanre (Idanre Hills) is about 24 kilometres South West of Akure in Ondo State. A natural wonder, these hills dominate the horizons in the area, and are a testament to the geologic activity that birthed them millions of years ago. Idanre is also rich in flora and fauna.

This is the largest public park in Abuja, the country’s capital city. Located in the Maitama district, the park is beautified by grasses, trees, pools, and fountains. A river passes through the park, dividing it into two parts. Inaugurated by Queen Elizabeth in 2003, the park hosts thousands of visitors every year.
Kajuru Castle

The Kajuru Castle is located in Kaduna State. It’s often described as taking the form of a Bavarian castle. True to its medieval style, it has an armoury, dungeon, knight’s hall, and turrets built into the wall as if for the castle’s defence.
Zuma Rock

This famous rock dominates the horizons of a segment of Abuja; it’s just west of the city. But the rock is located in Niger State, towering 300 meters above everything else around it. It’s also gotten space on Nigeria’s one hundred naira note.
Olumo Rock

Olumo rock gives its visitors a great view of Abeokuta. The city sprawls from its base, as far as the eye can see (Abeokuta is Yoruba for ‘under the rock’). In earlier times, it was a natural defence for the Egba people against the tribes with which they were at war.
