  Applications are currently ongoing for the WomHub Africa Innovation Fellowship (AIF) Program. This program is aimed at building the leadership and business development skills of African women who own and run engineering businesses. It is part of ongoing efforts by AIF, in partnership with the Royal Academy of Engineering, to support women-owned STEM innovations.

AIF 2024 will equip its fellows with the leadership and business development skills they need to scale and prepare for investments. It will run for 8 months, starting in November 2024. The first part of the program will be a virtual masterclass covering idea and business incubation, funding, leadership development, and pitch readiness.

Eligibility

This program is open to persons who meet these criteria:
  • Have a registered new or innovative STEM business idea or startup
  • Developed an engineering solution that will cater to the needs of people in sub-Saharan Africa
  • Commit to the program for its duration (November 2024-July 2025)
  • Must be a woman
  • Have a valid passport and be able to travel between February and May 2025
