  Wema Bank is organizing the Transforming Nigerian Youth Program, and this is in collaboration with MasterCard Foundation and the Enterprise Development Center, Pan Atlantic University. This initiative, according to its creators, is designed to raise a mass of entrepreneurs and business managers whose work will drive positive growth and development across Nigeria’s economy. It offers an opportunity to youth and women who desire to be successful business founders and managers to develop their capacities and go on to thrive in their chosen commercial, industrial and corporate roles.

Through this program, the Enterprise Development Center and its partners will train 40,000 MSMEs specifically in agriculture and creative sectors. The Nigerian Youth Program training will be delivered through an online platform, enabling participants to take part regardless of where they are.

  • Receive personalized or business-specific enterprise support
  • Get up to ₦500,000 in grants

Eligibility

This program is open to persons who meet the following criteria:
  • Should be a young entrepreneur aged between 18 and 35 years
  • Must live in Nigeria
  • Should have a business idea or business in the agricultural or creative sector
