About 3,000 persons will be selected for the Songhai/MasterCard Integrated Agriculture Bootcamp, which will last 3 years and run multiple election cycles. The target is that 70% of these trainees will be young people. They will learn sustainable farming methods and modern farm management from technicians and agro-entrepreneurs. Training will focus on key areas: Crop Production, Animal Husbandry, Aquaculture, and Food Processing.

Eligibility

This program is open to persons who meet the following criteria:
  • Should be between the ages of 18 and 35 years
  • Must have started an agricultural venture or be ready to start one
  • Should be able to travel to Imo or Ebonyi States
  • Must be willing to scale their venture after undergoing training
