  WEMA Bank, in partnership with the MasterCard Foundation and the Enterprise Development Center (EDC), has birthed an initiative aimed at supporting young female entrepreneurs in Nigeria with the entrepreneurial and managerial skills they need to lead and grow their businesses. The SARA By WEMA Transforming Nigerian Youths Program, as it is called, will train thousands of entrepreneurs and help them set up and gain entry to new markets.

SARA By WEMA targets women aged between 18 and 35 years. It offers a combination of enterprise training, access to grants, and personalized mentoring. For 15 working days, participants will immerse themselves in self-paced virtual training, along with interactive workshops and seminars that should strengthen their understanding of the learning material.

Eligibility
