The NNPC/Seplat National Undergraduate Scholarship 2023

Seplat Energy, an oil and gas company, has announced that it is currently receiving applications from qualified students who want to benefit from its undergraduate scholarship program. The company says that, through this scheme, it aims to provide the financial support that academically brilliant young Nigerians need to complete higher education.

Seplat has explained that this program is part of a Corporate Social Responsibility effort on its part, and is being executed in partnership with NNPC Limited. Persons who are presently studying at the undergraduate level in any of the Federal or State universities in Nigeria are eligible to apply.

Benefits

The NNPC/Seplat scholarship scheme will support the education of selected students to the tune of ₦200,000.

Eligibility

This program is open to persons who meet the following criteria:

  • Be a student at a Federal or State University in Nigeria
  • Currently a student in 200 Level or above
  • Must be studying one of these courses: Accountancy, Agriculture, Architecture, Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Economics, Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Environmental Studies, Geology, Law, Mass Communication, Mechanical Engineering, Medicine/Dentistry, Metallurgical Engineering, and Petroleum Engineering
  • Have at least 5 O’ Level credit passes (including in English and Mathematics) in one sitting
  • Must not hold any other scholarship at the moment

Applicants are not required to submit any documents at this stage, as this is only the preliminary round. Only persons who are shortlisted for further screening will be contacted.
