Seplat has explained that this program is part of a Corporate Social Responsibility effort on its part, and is being executed in partnership with NNPC Limited. Persons who are presently studying at the undergraduate level in any of the Federal or State universities in Nigeria are eligible to apply.

Eligibility
This program is open to persons who meet the following criteria:- Be a student at a Federal or State University in Nigeria
- Currently a student in 200 Level or above
- Must be studying one of these courses: Accountancy, Agriculture, Architecture, Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Economics, Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Environmental Studies, Geology, Law, Mass Communication, Mechanical Engineering, Medicine/Dentistry, Metallurgical Engineering, and Petroleum Engineering
- Have at least 5 O’ Level credit passes (including in English and Mathematics) in one sitting
- Must not hold any other scholarship at the moment
