You could win a scholarship from the Nigerian Institution of Professional Engineers and Scientists (NIPES). The organization is inviting suitably qualified students from across the country to apply for the NIPES Scholarship 2025.

NIPES presents itself as the premier professional organization for engineers and scientists in Nigeria. The NIPES Scholarship 2025 is an initiative aimed at promoting and supporting science education and competence in the country.

Benefit

The total funding pool for the scholarship is ₦1 million. Broken down, it’s ₦200,000 per recipient.

Eligibility

This scholarship is open to persons who meet the following criteria:
  • Currently enrolled at an accredited higher institution
  • Studying a Science or Engineering related course
  • Be a member of NIPES
  • Complete at least one (free) NIPES course online
  • Submit a 500-700 word personal statement explaining the skills you learnt from the NIPES course

  • A brief run through your background and educational journey
  • Why you are enthusiastic about science or engineering
  • Your academic and extracurricular achievements
  • Your career goals and how they are aligned with NIPES’s stated mission
