  The Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund is organizing a pitch competition for startups from across the world. The Jumpstarter Global Pitch, as it’s called, offers innovative tech-driven ventures the opportunity to demonstrate the effectiveness and impact of their solutions, for a chance to win a share of $5 million in investments. If you are looking for global visibility, an audience with investors, and funding to support your venture, here’s an opportunity that could grant you all of that.

This competition is open to startups in ArtTech, BioTech, AI and Data, Robotics, FinTech, HealthTech, Industry 4.0, Sustainability, Web 3.0, and related industries. They are invited to get through multiple stages of the competition leading up to its finale, an onstage pitch, which will take place in Hong Kong in November 2023.

Eligibility

This competition is open to persons who meet these criteria:
  • Should be a founder or co-founder of the startup for which they are applying
  • The startup has been operational for less than 5 years; it could be at the idea, early, or growth stage
  • Must have raised less than $20 million up until its entry into the competition
  • A startup should be able to demonstrate the effectiveness of its solution and how it has positively impacted its target market
  • Must be willing to add Hong Kong and the broader GBA (Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area) to the locations in which it has a presence
