  The Ford Fund, which is the philanthropic arm of the Ford Motor Company, is organizing a fellowship for social entrepreneurs. In light of this, it is calling on qualified social change-makers and community leaders to apply for a place in the program. Persons who are accepted into the fellowship stand a chance of receiving a share of $40,000 in stipends. That’s in addition to training and insights that will enable them to succeed in their quest to achieve positive outcomes within their domains.

Fellows will also gain access to valuable networks and resources, and get the chance to pitch their ventures and solutions to leaders, funders, and high-level executives. The program is virtual and is financed by the Ford Fund.

Eligibility

The fellowship is open to persons who meet these criteria:
  • Be a social entrepreneur or community leader who is committed to driving positive change in your community
  • Heading and leading a social impact venture or community, especially in the areas of mobility, transport, or accessibility
  • The venture should be in the problem-solution fit or product-market fit phases
