This scholarship program is open to students studying disciplines in these categories at universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education: Entrepreneurial Studies, Science and Technology, Education, Law, Medicine and Para-Medicals, Liberal Arts/Social and Management Sciences, and Environmental Sciences.

Eligibility
Persons who want to apply for this scholarship should meet these conditions:- Postgraduate students should have a first degree from a Federal or State university (in at least the Second Class Upper Division), and be a full-time postgraduate students at a Federal or State university
- Applicants pursuing university undergraduate degrees, Higher National Diploma (HND) or Nigeria Certificate in Education must be registered as full-time students at universities, polytechnics and colleges of education respectively, and be in their second year of study or above
- University undergraduates should currently have a CGPA of at least 4.0 on a 5-point scale or 5.0 on a 7-point scale
- HND and NCE students should have a CGPA of at least 3.5 on a 4-point scale
