  Applications are open for the Eko Electricity Distribution Company Trainee Program (EDTP 2.0). The EKEDC is looking for Nigerian graduates who would like to work in the power sector. They are on the hunt for individuals who possess talent that could help the company achieve its aim of becoming the leading customer-centric power distribution company in Africa.

Through the Eko Electricity Distribution Company Trainee Program 2025, Eko Electricity will train potential professionals, allow them to gain real-world experience, and prepare them for a career in the power sector. These trainees could then be part of a pool from which the company draws fresh recruits to fill roles within its expanding setup.

Eligibility

This program is open to persons who meet the following criteria:
  • Have a first degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Accounting
  • Graduated with a CGPA of at least the Second Class Upper Division, or at least the Second Class Lower Division and a Master’s Degree in the relevant disciplines
  • Must complete the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program before the EDTP begins
  • Have between 0 and 3 years of experience
  • Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Professional certifications will confer an added advantage
