  Applications are currently ongoing for the Anzisha Prize Venture Building Fellowship Program 2025. The Anzisha Prize is Africa’s biggest prize for the continent’s youngest entrepreneurs (aged 15 to 22 years). Each year, the program gives prizes and business support worth $140,000 to entrepreneurs from across Africa.

For 10 years, the Anzisha Prize has supported young talents and rewarded the growth of their businesses. As the fellowship progresses, organizers track the progress of its fellows’ businesses. Promising enterprises are given access to short courses, cash stipends, and cloud services. At the end of the second year of the fellowship, entrepreneurs pitch their businesses for a chance to win a share of the prizes.

There are 4 categories in which prizes can be won:
  • Job creation prize
  • Revenue growth prize
  • Storytelling prize
  • Integrating systems and processes prize

Benefits

This program confers the following benefits on fellows:
  • Cash stipends, given at various intervals for the duration of the fellowship
  • Entrepreneurs get to shadow a business in their region that they want to emulate
  • Apply for technical expertise to help deliver solutions within the business
  • Learn through educational courses that improve their leadership and business development skills

Eligibility

This program is open to persons who meet the following criteria:
  • Must be between 15 and 22 years old
  • Have an ID document or passport for evidence
  • Be a national of an African country, with a business based on the continent
  • Applicants must be one of the co-founders of the business
