To be eligible for the program:

  • You must be a non-profit social enterprise based in Africa. Organizations that are carrying out initiatives that drive social impact can also apply.
  • Interested organizations must submit social innovations that are focused on addressing challenges in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
  • Organisations that have won the previous edition of the program are not eligible to apply.
  • Interested organisations must be registered with relevant governmental agencies in their country.

  • All submissions must demonstrate the leverage of technology or digital systems in driving societal change. Evidence must be provided through videos, pictures, web links, and others.
  • Interested organisations must have been operational for at least two years.
  • All social innovations must be at the level of growth and must have been tested or implemented on beneficiaries. Evidence must be provided through videos, pictures, links, or any other means.
  • All social innovations must have been implemented in the last two years. Pilot innovations are not eligible.
  • There is no entry fee.
