Got A Movie? Africa Film Academy Calls For Entries For AMAA 2013

The Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) is calling for feature length films (not more than 2hrs long), short and documentary entries for its 2013 edition, to be held in April in Nigeria, home to Nollywood which is the world’s third largest film industry. The deadline for submissions is 30 December 2012 and the theme for the 2013 edition is ‘Africa-One-Africa without borders the integration cinematically’.

The movie trailers draw you in enough to buy the movie for your viewing pleasure. A lot of these movies though only have good trailers and no plot to write home about. The movie trailer has a point but the movie ends up being scattered and confusing with a lot of bad acting. At times, you’d wonder if all the best parts of the movie were used to make the trailer.
