It is able to help organizations in these areas thanks to its team of safety and environmental quality professionals, who have a cumulative experience spanning decades. The team consists of members of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), the Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria (IPSON), the Chemical Society of Nigeria (CSN), and the UK’s Association of First Aiders (AofA). Rholuck was incorporated in 2010. Its founder, Odehorhwo Lucky, has been an HSE specialist and manager for over 22 years and is trained in industrial chemistry and environmental management. He brings his experience in these areas to bear on his role as leader and coordinator at the company—something he’s done for the more than ten years in which the firm has been operational.

One of Rholuck’s services is the conduct of environmental audits. It prepares Environmental Audit Reports for companies as a follow-up to field examinations. It also carries out Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Environmental/Baseline Studies and Environmental Analysis, Oil Spill Response and Cleanup, ad Bio-Remediation. Many clients who request these services are oil companies, but organizations in other industries benefit from these solutions too. Rholuck monitors and examines industrial waste for clients on a monthly basis as well. It conducts hazard and operability studies (‘HAZOPS’), analyzes petroleum products, investigates material safety, and offers general Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) consultancy services. With these services, Rholuck enables its clients (whether they are government or private sector organizations) to better grasp the material or operational risks that they face, and devise preventative and remedial measures in response to them.

Apart from these practical involvements, Rholuck also supplies drilling chemicals, overalls, safety boots, first aid boxes, and safety videos. It installs fire-fighting equipment for working environments too, and trains staff of businesses in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE). Rholuck is accredited to carry out critical environmental safety management operations by a range of government bodies. They include the Federal Ministry of Environment, the National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency (NESREA), the National Oil Spill Detection Response Agency (NOSDRA), the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA), and the Nigerian Petroleum Exchange (NIPEX).
