The United States Consulate General, in conjunction with the Constitutional Rights Awareness and Liberty Initiative (CRALI), decorated Singer Simisola Bolatito Ogunleye, popularly known as Simi, as a Human Rights Ambassador.

Simi, Ezekwesili and Fabiyi

The Joromi crooner – who who turned 30 earlier in the month of April – was decorated by Consul General F. John Bray at the U.S Consulate in Lagos. Other notable people who were also decorated Human rights ambassadors include former World Bank vice president and co-founder of Transparency International, Oby Ezekwesili, and Nollywood actor and producer, Yomi Fabiyi.  
Constitutional Rights Awareness and Liberty Initiative (CRALI) – formerly ‘Know Your Constitution Initiative’ – is a Nigeria based Non-Governmental Organization that contributes to the expansion of the frontiers of Liberty, Human Rights, Youth empowerment, environment, democracy and happiness of people across Africa. Through its ‘Know Your Constitution’ project, educates people about their rights, responsibilities and how to respond to legal issues that arise in their daily activities. “Our hearty congratulations to you dear @SympLySimi .
