‘The appointment meant a return to USTDA where from 2004 to 2019, Ms Ebong had served in a variety of roles, most recently as the Agency’s General Counsel, and Deputy Director and Chief Operating Officer. The opportunity to lead the Agency comes at a critical moment when the world is turning to the United States for leadership on clean energy and climate-smart infrastructure, as well as safe and secure ICT solutions…I’ve longed believed in USTDA’s mission and program, which are fully aligned with the President’s vision of strengthening the country’s economy and addressing climate as an essential component of American foreign policy and national security.’ Enoh Titilayo EbongDaughter to Ime James Ebong, a former Nigerian civil servant who once served as a permanent secretary, Enoh grew up in Lagos State, Nigeria. Before joining the USTDA in 2004. She practised law at the Boston office of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris and Popeo, P.C. She also represented public and private firms in financial transactions, corporate governances, mergers and acquisitions, and public offerings. Aside from earning a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School, she also obtained a Master of Arts in Communication degree from the Annenberg School for Communication, University of Pennsylvania. A member of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Bar, and she equally boasts of a Master of Arts in History, with Honors, from The University of Edinburgh, Scotland.
