Treepz’s marketing manager mentioned in a statement seen by Connectnigeria.com that the company’s expansion into Kenya was made possible with the help of its current investors, despite a challenging venture funding climate in 2022. The email also revealed that the expansion was supported by Swvl, a NASDAQ-listed mobility company. In June of last year, Swvl halted its daily intra-city rides in Kenya due to worsening economic conditions but continued operating Swvl Business, which provided transportation services to corporations, organizations, and private entities. Treepz also offers a similar corporate service for organizations and corporations.
