You wake up at ungodly hours and jump into the bathroom, the cold water shocks your body into a freeze, your shirt is too rumpled, you can’t find your belt, your car refuses to start, you get to work by 9 am, your boss frowns at you the whole day and you almost have a stroke wondering if you’ll get the sack until it’s 5 pm and you exhale in relief. When you get home you eat the dry bread from yesterday and before your head even hits the pillow the alarm rings and it’s morning already. The cycle repeats, again and again. Through all these, there’s only one thought that keeps you going: the weekend!
