Dolphins FC of Port Harcourt striker, Ifeanyi Egwim became the first player to score a hat-trick in the Nigerian Premier League this season on Saturday to earn his side a 3-1 win over Nasarawa United. Despite his team losing a player and going down 1-0 early in the game, Egwim scored two first half goals before completing his hat-trick early in the second half to enter history books. It took 190 games for the Nigerian Premier League to witness a hat-trick this season. Hopefully, this is the first of many to come. We say congratulations to Ifeanyi Egwim.
