When decorating your tailor shop, you have to consider the location, lighting, furnishing, capital, etc.   Decorations don’t have to be too much or too small. It is understanding the outlook you want your business to have and working towards achieving it. You don’t have to break a bank to do it. Just sit, think, relax, make enquires, think again and then do it. There are various ways to decorate a tailor shop, but it all depends on your niche and preference. Furniture When there are no chairs for your customers to sit, it shows lack of professionalism. Your chairs should be neat and should be in good condition. Don’t tell your customers to sit on damaged chairs. Having furniture in your shop make your customers feel welcome. Your furniture, however should be well arranged and not look chaotic. It should fit into your shop. Your furniture should not occupy too much space.

3. Ventilation We breathe everyday for survival. Your tailor shop should be well ventilated. You should either have a natural or artificial source of air. It is understandable that as a small business owner, you may not have enough capital to provide a certain amount of comfort for your potential customers, so it is advisable that your shop is not choked. In the absence of electricity, you can buy the popular portable rechargeable hand fan to make your customers feel welcome and comfortable. 4. Shelves for Clothing In olden-days tailor shops, ropes are tied from one end to the other to hang clothes and materials. That method is obsolete in this era and should be stopped. Either you are starting out big or small, it is important for you to have a shelf or shelves where materials for you and your customers are well arranged. No doubt, sewing can be messy and arrangment can be tiring, however, it is very embarrassing when clothes are littered everywhere in your shop. Imagine, a customer comes to pick his or her cloth and you are searching for it or the customer finds the dress on the floor.  The clothing in your shelf or shelves should be well arranged at all times. 5. Accessory stands Having accessory stands is another great idea to decorate your tailor shop. It helps decorate your shop and also help you show your collection. Accessory stands help to create a dynamic decor. Make sure you arrange them where they won’t get in the way. These ways of decorating your tailor shop are very affordable. Your shop does not always have to look messy and unattractive.
