Getting hold of useful and timely information on the performance of your stocks just got easier.

Yochaa, an iPhone and iPad application which gives its users greater control over their investments by letting them in on the price movements of stocks listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange, has recently been launched. The app in effect helps stock owners and people interested in the workings of the NSE to keep tabs on the price movements of securities, generalized or detailed.

The app’s beta version has been in use for over a year. With its formal release, Yochaa could make investing in the Nigerian stock market more attractive, because it helps bridge the information gap which has held back otherwise willing investors from purchasing securities.

Yochaa’s features include tools which help its user monitor the performance of stock portfolio with regular price updates. News updates on business, investing, financial literacy and financial analysis, and a picture of the overall performance of all NSE securities are available on the app as well. Graphical illustration of price and trade volume of securities can also be viewed in high definition PDF print. A stock owner can access information on the stock he or she owns- purchase history, historical price comparison, return on investment, e.t.c.

Yochaa is compatible with iPhones, iPads, and iPod Touch, and can be downloaded from the App Store for free. It also has premium features, which allows users to get more from the app, including the PDF charts service.
