  Flutterwave has been named as the Lead FinTech Sponsor for the 2023 Africa FinTech Summit, which will take place on April 12, 2023, in Washington, D.C. Additionally, the summit will be held in an African city that will be disclosed in November 2023. Flutterwave’s sponsorship is timely as it has recently obtained licenses in Egypt, allowing it to operate as an official payment service provider in the country and expand its presence in the MENA region.

Flutterwave was established in 2016 and has processed more than 400 million transactions worth over $25 billion across 34 African countries. The company has experienced significant growth over the past year, currently serving over one million businesses globally.
