If you are, then I am sure you’ve at a point wondered what it would be like if you could just create a team of players from your favourite Premier League clubs and observe their real-life performance. How awesome would that be! Well, now you can. With the
Fantasy Premier League football application, you can do all; create your own team from players from the clubs registered with the EA Sports game company and watch them battle every other team.
Unlike other football manager applications, the Fantasy Premier League uses the real-life performance of every player you picked out, to score a goal.
Here’s How it Works
– Firstly, download the
Fantasy Premier League app from the Google play store or Apple iOS store and install it.
– Run the app, you’ll be prompted to register before you can proceed.
After this, you can begin your game experience by creating your own FPL (Fantasy Premier League) team.
– You will be given a start-up budget of £100m with which you’ll purchase your players.
- Your team will consist of 15 players;
2 Goalkeepers 5 Defenders 5 Midfielders and 3 Forwards.
- You are allowed to select up to 3 players from a single Premier League team. While making this choice, it is important that you don’t choose players just because you like the teams they play for, but for their performance, as this choice will determine your total score after each game week.
– From your 15 player squad, select 11 players by the Gameweek deadline to form your team.
All your points for the Gameweek will be scored by these 11 players, however, if one or more doesn’t play they may be automatically substituted.
Your team can play in any formation, provided that 1 goalkeeper, at least 3 defenders, and at least 1 forward, are selected at all times. You will also need to choose a captain and a vice-captain for your team, your captain’s score will be doubled. In the case where the captain plays for 0 minutes for his team in the Premier League, your vice captain’s score will be doubled. If neither of them has play time, no player’s score will be doubled.
The Fantasy Premier League application is not just a game for fun, but also a great way to familiarize yourself a lot more with the Premier League.
