The Managing Director of Ecobank, Jibril Aku, will step down on December 31, 2015 according to a public announcement by the bank. Aku will be concluding his five-year tenure as managing director, as cited in the statement. He will occupy a senior role in Ecobank Transnational Incorporated, the bank’s parent company, in early 2016. Prior to joining Ecobank in 2006, Aku worked with Citibank, Nigeria International Bank and Afribank Nigeria Plc.   Source: Punch
