If you would like to make one of these PET gift packs, here’s what you’ll need to work with.
What You Will Need
Plastic bottle Scissors Glue Ribbon Glitter (gift wrapping) Marker penThe Process
Step One: Mark the bottle (the type used as packaging for soft drinks) with your marker, in a round-about way. The mark should be drawn around the middle of the bottle.Sign up to the Connect Nigeria daily newsletter
Step Two: Apply some pressure around the area you marked, so that it flattens temporarily. Step Three: Using your scissors, cut through the bottle along the marker line until you have two separate halves Step Four: Take the bottom half (which has the standing end), mark it close to the part where the standing bottom’s form begins. Step Five: Stay with this half of the old bottle. Using your scissors, cut from the top towards the line you marked in step two. Do this in five parts, so that the top takes a flower-like form. Step Five: Place your gift into this plastic container, and fold in the five petal-like flaps so that they cover the top of the container. Set Six: Apply some glue all over the outer surface of the container Step Seven: Plaster the gift wrap over the container Step Eight: Tie the plastic gift wrap with a gift ribbon. You’ll have a gift package.
Final Words
It’s great to be able to make small gift packages yourself. It’ll cost you little or nothing and the people who receive it (usually children) will appreciate it as unusual and special. Featured Image Source: PinterestGot a suggestion? Contact us: editor@connectnigeria.com
