Interestingly, the town’s landscape is a hilly one, located between open grasslands and tropical rainforests. Tourists would find Afikpo an endearing place because it is the home of Africa’s top traditional dance groups, cultural festivals and works of art. This 4km long and 3km high cave is located in Etiti, in the southern part of Afikpo. The cave has multiple narrow tunnels that extend into several directions. One can access it from Mile 2 along Akaeze-Ngusu roads which are about 140km from Enugu and 76km from Abakiliki.Golden Sand Beaches of Afikpo
Ndibe, Ozizza and Unwana beaches make up the Golden Sand Beaches and are ideal relaxation centres located in Afikpo. Pastime includes swimming, sports fishing, and canoe racing.
